WP Statistics across multiple WordPress sites

Bring WP Statistics reports from multiple WordPress sites into Independence Hub. Learn which metrics are available and how daily visitor counts work.

Updated

Your WP Statistics sites in one view

Review your WP Statistics sites alongside the rest of your WordPress portfolio in Independence Hub. A shared dashboard makes it easier to spot a site that needs attention while keeping WP Statistics’ counting rules visible.

Reports you can bring into your Hub

The integration does not supply sessions, average session duration, or new versus returning sessions. Those fields say “Not tracked by this plugin.” Daily visitors are not interchangeable with sessions from another analytics plugin, and visitor counts across dates should not be treated as deduplicated people for the whole period.

  • Page views, daily visitors, and daily traffic trends.
  • Bounce rate based on single-page daily visits.
  • Top pages, referrers, countries, and devices in detailed reports.

Connect a WP Statistics site

  1. Create a free Hub account and verify your email. In the Hub, choose Add site and enter the HTTPS URL of a WordPress site you administer.
  2. Install and activate the current Independence Hub Connector alongside WP Statistics. The connector requires WordPress 6.5 or later and PHP 8.0 or later.
  3. Return to the Hub and choose Step 2: Connect this site. Sign in to WordPress as an administrator, review the Hub account, select WP Statistics, and approve.
  4. Return to Dashboard, choose a reporting range, and check the overview. For an existing connected site, use Manage analytics plugins in its three-dot menu to approve an additional source.

Set a target WP Statistics can measure

Use 7, 28, 30, or 90 days consistently across your review. A site can approve several supported plugins, but its reports stay source-specific. The dashboard uses one selected source per site rather than adding overlapping traffic together.

  1. Connect the site and choose WP Statistics as its dashboard source.
  2. Compare page views or visitors over 7, 28, 30, or 90 days with the immediately preceding equivalent period.
  3. In Growth, select that site, WP Statistics, and either views or visitors for a rolling target. Sessions are unavailable for this source.
  4. When checking a figure in WordPress, use the same plugin and dates. With Unlimited, use the detailed page and referrer reports to choose one follow-up action.
